Our 2 hour objective assessment includes the following:
- Cervical pain and function questionnaires (Neck Disability Index, Symptom Intensity Rating Scale [VAS] and Patient Review Form).
- Objective evaluation of range of motion in flexion, extension, left and right lateral flexion and left and right rotation on the BTE Multi-Cervical Unit (MCU).
- Objective evaluation of maximal isometric strength on the BTE Multi-Cervical Unit (MCU) in 16 different functional positions of the cervical spine.
- Other musculoskeletal tests to determine vertebro-basilar insufficiency, upper cervical ligament stability, tests for central sensitisation, upper limb neural tension tests and palpation of the muscles of the head, neck and spine.
- These objective evaluations are compiled into a comprehensive report.
